Terrible, we had to switch hotels

Liked: Its a scam. There are cockroaches and the customer service is ai and garbage. We weren’t provided with cards to enter our hotel and turn on the lights. Absolutely disgusting.

    Disliked: Dark and dirty.

    No reception and mosquito dining

    Liked: Unfortunately nothing

Disliked: Ok here's my feedback The lack of a physical reception is terrible. Registration was difficult as we only have a mobile phone (pasting pictures isn't easy on Android)... I considered just booking somewhere else and writing off the money... I wish I had (see below) The check in process was painful and took ages. Keys remotely cut didn't work and had to be done twice. It took ages waiting for replies via WhatsApp. But by far the worst was the fact that the room (105) was infested with mosquitos. We spent all night under sheets trying not to get bitten. We failed! We are both absolutely covered in bites and got out the room as soon as we could, preferring to walk the streets outside. Never again! We are staying multiple times a week in Las Palmas and normally stay in a hotel a few doors away. We have had no issues with mosquitos there. We noticed that there a blood marks on the walls where previous guests had squashed them. So it's an ongoing issue. The room needs fumigation. So it's a major regret that we booked this room. Last night we would have paid anything NOT to be there given that today we feel terrible covered in bites. I am in Las Palmas for medical treatment and could do without being bitten alive from a hotel stay So in summary, this was the worst hotel experience we have ever had, from start to finish. AND I have never given a hotel review/feedback before.... This is a first.

Castalina hotel not good if tou want to sleep

    Liked: I didnt like anything

Disliked: I didnt like the Location. When I arrived i was stood outside for 15-20 mins. I had no battery to call the number on the door as you need a code to enter. Another 2 guest arrived also then we managed to call the number. The receptionist then came and checked us in. I noticed the room was still dirty crumbs on rhe chair and stains. It just was very un comfortable and hot. The noise outside was too loud which prevented me from sleeping as one of the windows would not close fully. I then had to check out at 11am. I was still tried and I didnt understand why so early when I checked in at around 9pm Also the wifi doesnt work in the room and the plug socket wasnt charging my phone properly.
