  Perfect start to a driving holiday of Gran Canaria. Just 20 minutes from the airport

  Liked: We had a wonderful (albeit brief) stay here. Mauretta is a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable and it was great to have a balcony. Castillo del Romeral had a non-touristic charm, and if you stay here, you must go for seafood at Las Salinas Restaurant - just a 10 minute walk from the house. Fantastic food and good prices.

  Liked: Super host. Super breakfast. Maura goes way beyond and above thoughtfullness. Her kindness is exceptional. Would definitely go back. Unbelievable value.

  Disliked: Room we booked was a bit small for us as we stayed for a week. Will book bigger room next time.

  Liked: We spent the last day of our vacation here because it is a good 15 minutes drive to the airport. The owners were really nice and made really really good, delicious and big breakfast and for a cheap price that you spend here it is really worth it.

  Disliked: If you want nice sandy beaches this is not a place
