  A spacious and comfortable villa, ideal for a family holiday, with a few areas that would benefit from renovation and ma

  Liked: The villa was very spacious and comfortable for our family of six. We particularly appreciated that every bedroom had its own private bathroom, which made our stay much more convenient. The property is well suited for larger families or groups, especially for longer stays. Having a private swimming pool and a garage was also a great advantage. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and felt comfortable throughout our holiday.

  Disliked: Although we enjoyed our stay, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some of the furniture is showing its age and would benefit from refurbishment. The bathroom taps and fittings also need maintenance or replacement. The rooftop jacuzzi was difficult to enjoy because the water temperature could not be adjusted and remained excessively hot. The flooring around the swimming pool is very slippery when wet, so extra care is needed, especially with children. As we stayed in a private villa, we did not have access to some of the resort facilities, such as the gym, which was a little disappointing. We would also strongly recommend renting a car, as the property is some distance from the town centre. The private garage is very convenient, but without a car, taxis are generally needed to get into Corralejo.

  Liked: Beautiful property which has such an amazing feel to it. Wow factor on arrival with pool lighting. All very Caesar Manrique (pool) if you’ve ever been to Lanzarote - whitewash walls, volcanic black brick, tropical planting. Roof terrace incredible for outside entertaining and bbq 5 stars. Hot tub fab. Sunset views amazing.

  Disliked: Twin room and second double are not attached to the main villa with access only from the pool. Not suitable for young children or some families. We were not happy leaving kids in these rooms overnight so had one adult with 2 kids in poolside rooms. We were with 3 children 11, 9 and 5. Poolside slippy and stairs/upper terrace open so not for young children. Our youngest is nearly 6 and good swimmer/sensible so ok for us. A few cockroaches but repellent provided and easily removed. Some maintenance (didn’t distract from our stay) due like paint touch ups and pool sealant but Vrea appear to have at least 4-5 villas in this street and they were fully renovating first Villa so actively updating.

  A truly awful holiday let - do your research before booking!

  Liked: Nothing good to say at all. From start to finish there were problems with the villa 4.2. Switches on fuse board kept tripping which meant we went hours, and sometimes overnight, without internal lights. We were expected to constantly have to reset the fuse board, which could take hours before it would allow us to flip the switches. At one stage the property manager asked the pool maintenance guy to look at the electrics, but judging from his lack of knowledge on how to fix any of the issues, I doubt he was a qualified electrician! We lost power in 3 of the 4 air conditioning units for the majority of our holiday, which, when its 28 degrees at night is less than pleasant. We had a really large cockroach infestation. When I reported it I was told to empty the bin more frequently (it wasn't even close to full) and someone was sent in to spray the area - that worked for less than a night. The overgrown and rotting vegetation around the pool constantly made the pool filthy with debris and mould. The net they give you to clean the pool is disintegrating and unusable - we were promised a replacement but, like everything else, it was an empty promise. Covers were off the filters in the pool, making them a trip hazard. Filter covers missing in hot tub. The tap in the kitchen leaks all over the floor. Glass panels on the bathroom doors ensure no privacy for anyone using bathroom. All problems were met with excuse after excuse and empty promises but nothing was ever resolved. We were offered a free meal as compensation for the inconvenience - which we refused because it doesn't come close to compensating. We were given a later check-out, which was the absolute minimum they could do. The management team would eventually reply to all our texts but didn't actually sort any of them out - worst holiday accommodation ever!

  Disliked: Everything was in bad repair, grubby and disappointing. As someone who works in property management, I know I'd lose my job pretty quickly if I never got repairs done and treated tenants with such disdain.
