Overall, a good experience staying here but room situation needs looked at from management. Thanks

Liked: Great location for accessing the village of Costa teguise. Buses outside hotel which make it very handy for a two minute journey. A lot of taxis available also. Great pool facilities and breakfast in our stay, staff are very efficient as there are so many people.

Disliked: In our room, we had small ants that came from underneath the walls. Other customers said the same. Not many of them but it was disturbing at times. Also at the pool cafes, the food was not of a high standard, just chicken nuggets and chicken wings. I feel the cafes could do with having fresh lunch menu on offer where food is cooked fresh such as sandwiches, baguettes etc would make a big difference.

An all-inclusive that isn’t actually all-inclusive, with inedible food

Liked: The only positive thing about this accommodation is the landscaping, the arboretum, and the native species of cacti and succulents. You can see that a lot of effort has gone into it, and the visual impression, at least from the outside, is good.

Disliked: Everything else was bad. To begin with, the all-inclusive is not actually all-inclusive at all. At each bar, guests are given a different price list, and someone on vacation is expected to figure out and calculate which drinks are free for everyone and which are only available to Royal Level members (something that was never mentioned at the time of booking). Half of the facilities at the property are closed off to “regular” all-inclusive guests: 3 pools, 2 bars, and a restaurant. Even the Olympic-size pool is not available to them without an additional charge (despite being advertised as part of the property’s offering in all the photos). Also, 2 restaurants on the property are not included in the all-inclusive package, nor are they included for Royal Level guests. The food is inedible—overcooked and tasteless. The fish and meat are neither properly cooked nor properly grilled; they are somewhere in between, and everything is swimming in oil. The selection is the same every day, which after five days means there is literally nothing left to choose from. In the rooms, ants share the bathroom with you, the air conditioning doesn’t work, the doors squeak... The water from the dispensers (tap water is not drinkable) has a strange, slightly salty taste, and bottled water is not included in the price. The soft drinks are not carbonated either (they also come from a dispenser). By the end of September, there isn’t much in terms of entertainment, and there are no longer any activities for children. There are only three entertainers for such a huge resort. They really do their best, but with so few people, they simply cannot provide a good-quality program. The evening concerts are held in a stuffy, smelly underground area instead of outside on the open-air stage, despite the pleasant temperatures.
