  Great place to stay

  Liked: The location is perfect: easy to move around. There is a parking, which is very convenient. Our room in the old house was huge and comfortable. Just a bit dark.

  Disliked: It was great to be able to use the common kitchen but it should be cleaned daily and utensils should be replaced when too used.

  Liked: Absolutely nothing.

  Disliked: • The property does not match its description — rather than a traditional country-style hotel, it is a mainly modern complex built around a courtyard (astroturf and pool). • Cleanliness on arrival was very poor: – dust and debris under the bed (including glass and nail clippings, see photos) – multiple hairs on bathroom surfaces – hair in the shower drain – hair and dirt inside the fridge – kettle appeared unclean • Significant damp and ventilation issues: – heavy condensation on surfaces and windows – condensation dripping from the skylight – very limited ventilation (mainly via sliding door) – towels did not dry after use, clothing and bedding were damp from condensation • Bathroom and plumbing issues: – shower did not drain properly, leaving standing water – bathroom floor and bath mat became soaked – toilet flush mechanism stuck • Maintenance and condition: – worn and deteriorated fixtures (including shelving, fridge and hairdryer) – visible marks and general signs of wear – overall impression of poor upkeep • No staffed reception or on-site presence: – check-in via lockbox only – no practical way to raise issues or get assistance – no cleaning/towel replacement during stay – no sign of staff there from arrival to departure • Communication: – I contacted the property after check-out to raise these issues and received no response – Booking.com also attempted to contact the property and did not receive a reply

  It was great and we would recommend!

  Liked: Location and the property was a great price. Room appeared to be cleaned all the time and there was a well equipped kitchen which was a lovely meeting point. Owner provided clear communication would recommend this place.

  Disliked: Property was great, car park can be a bit tight in a large car, but you can park down the road as well. Shower has complimentary products but as a minor improvement there could be soap near the sink as well. Another minor improvement is that bins in kitchen to be labelled so it is clear which bin you use for recycling. In our room there was wardrobe space but it would be useful to have some draws as well. This was great accommodation for a great price and we would recommend.
