Fabulous
Liked: An incredibly beautiful, easy hiking trail is connected to the driveway road (a brief walk to get to the entrance or exit). Another wonderful moderate trail is a little further down the road (about 6 minute drive). A super sweet, gentle dog living on site made us so happy! Nice breakfast included! Feels quiet and somewhat secluded. Beautiful land.
Awesome authentic experience
Liked: Great atmosphere in an historic building. My wife liked the fire place (I didn’t). Food was ok. Not the right place if you are looking for luxury, but a great authentic experience.
Disliked: Only one electric outlet in the room. Wifi was poor.
Good, honest and simple accommodation
Liked: Isolated, quaint, laid back, beautiful (surroundings), family business, very friendly people, excellent value for money, good quality and tasty food, comfy beds
Disliked: Nothing I didn’t like. That said, don’t go if you’re looking for luxury
Charming moutain countryside hotel
Liked: The location was just magical in the middle of the countryside, and the fog surrounding the hotel and the mountain was just fantastic. It was a very good experience with the kids who had never experienced their country life. Horse riding was a great plus!
Disliked: Heating system could be better.. and you could heat the room before the guests come, I felt cold the first night.
Enjoyable rustic stay
Liked: Converted outbuilding on a farm with a very traditional rustic feel and a big log fire. Warm welcome, and excellent evening meal at reasonable cost.
Liked: Very nice location
Disliked: Do no book first floor apartment facing the street, street noise was durable, but there is 0 sound proofing between hallway and apartment sleeping area. So you will hear every whisper and step of your neighbors when they get back home late night. And whenever the light turns on in the hallway and gets to your bed thru the glass window above the door.
