  Liked: Place is definitely unique and you can see that Patchi put lots of love into the property. Although smaller than expected, the place is very well equipped with everything you need and is in a quiet location. Bed is big and comfortable, everything is clean and there are lots of little extras such as beach towels, beach umbrella, lots of toiletries, kitchen essentials, etc. Pool is on the smaller side but lovely, garden has several relaxation areas and is really cute, especially in the evening with all the lights on. We were excited to be able to observe local wildlife such as geckos and lizards. We also loved the cats, although they appear to be friendly, they keep the distance and won't bother you, which might be important in case you have a cat allergy for example. Patchi lives next door on the same property, it was not a problem for us as you won't see Patchi unless you need him, but something to be mindful of, if you prefer full solitude or self check in. All in all, it was a good stay and would recommend if you want peace and quiet in a quirky place.

  Disliked: We had some issues with the pillows and a foul smell from the bathroom, Patchi has been very responsive when we raised them and went to address these issues as much as possible straight away (some of it required further work done by a professional). Personally, I prefer these kind of things to be checked prior to my arrival, as they could have been prevented. I would rather avoid having to raise issues during my holiday time. However, I suppose it happens. It was appreciated that Patchi was so responsive and he apologised profusely several times. Acces road is doable, but is more suited to experienced drivers. Also, I would not attempt to do that road in a Fiat 500 for example, as some areas are very steep.

  Dream place. Absolutely recommend

  Liked: Everything was perfect—a charming place, peace and quiet, and a beautiful villa with a pool. We couldn't have dreamed of a better place. A wonderful host, very helpful. We didn't have a car, so he helped us with shopping. He even went with us to the famous volcano. On the day of our departure, he treated us to dinner and allowed us to stay longer because we had an evening flight. A wonderful person.

  Hidden gem that's perfect for peace and relaxation away from the crowds

  Liked: Staying here was 100% the highlight of our trip! Where most BnBs now feel like empty grey boxes, staying here felt like a huge relief - beautiful scenery, wonderful hosting from Patchi who was very generous and welcoming, and a place with a lot of little details that showed the care and love put into the place. The heated pool was wonderful with lots of great spots to relax/eat/read around the garden. Incredible views, and perfect for stargazing at night!

  Disliked: Nothing to add - was prepared for a 'chunky' road on arrival but after the first drive up in our little rental golf, we knew what to expect and barely thought about it!

  Liked: We stayed here in December 2025 for two weeks and absolutely loved every single moment of our stay. The weather was fantastic, and the holiday apartment was truly a dream. It was perfectly equipped with everything we need, and we felt completely at home from day one. The house is slightly secluded, which makes it incredibly peaceful and quiet – perfect for relaxing and switching off. We really enjoyed the privacy and calm atmosphere. Because of the location, we would definitely recommend having a rental car. Patchi is an outstanding host – extremely friendly, warm, and always willing to help. He supported us with everything, was always available, and gave us recommendations on what to do and see in the area. The view from the apartment is amazing and on clear days you can even see La Gomera. The heated pool was another absolute highlight and was always perfectly maintained by Patchi. The large garden surrounding the apartment was beautifully kept and a wonderful place to relax. We can wholeheartedly recommend this apartment in every possible way and would return without hesitation. Thank you:)

  Little gem in the hills

  Liked: Lovely mini villa in a very quiet area with great views over the coast. The kitchen was well equipped with some thoughtful extras provided by Patchi our host. Bed was comfortable and warm, and bathroom clean with a good hot shower. Heating provided in the sitting room and bedroom, though even in this unusually cooler winter, we only really needed it briefly in the morning and evening. The decour inside and out was charming and relaxing. Plenty of places to sit and chill outside.

  Disliked: Nothing - people have mentioned the steep drive. but it's tarmaced so hasĥ great grip.
