  A unique hotel that manages to combine a warm atmosphere with modern comforts

  Liked: Our favorite hotel in this area. It is cozy and warm, with all the amenities and exceptionally friendly staff. We love how quiet it is—both in the garden and throughout the hotel in general—with a sense of tranquility that allows for a truly restful and enjoyable stay.

  Stylish hotel for those who love it quiet

  Liked: Exceptional styling. Beautiful throughout, painting, vases, furniture, decorations.... even the towel holders are in mexican style. Gotta love the passion (and the budget) of the designers. Very quiet atmosphere, nice and clean pool area, well organized beach. Excellent food (unless you're vegan), champagne and egg benedicte for breakfast (brunch every day, yay!), good quality dinner with half-pension, served from a menu, on the beach with an impeccable sunset every night. Michelin-star restaurant on location with reasonable pricing for the foodies (only full menu options, no a'la carte).

  Disliked: Lack of alternative food. No plant-based milk options for breakfast (oat/soya/rice-milk), only lactose free. No margarine, just butter. No lactose-free or soya-based yogurt. I also saw no gluten-free options. The mattresses of sofa-beds are not worthy of a 5-star hotel, they are of low quality and are only meant for little kids to sleep in. However, no kids programs are present whatsoever, so the hotel gets to be an "old people's place" to a large extent. Street parking around is practically impossible in the area, the garage has a valet system and a 15 EUR extra charge per day.

Good to know

-Child care services are available upon request and have an extra cost.

-Guests must be holders of the credit card used to pay for the booking . This will be checked on arrival.

-Please note that when booking a rate where payment is due before arrival, Europe Villa Cortes GL will provide detailed payment instructions, for example a link to a secured payment platform.

-Please note, the prices of 31 December include the compulsory New Year´s Eve gala dinner, not refundable.

-If the number of guests present at check-in differs from the number of people on the reservation, an additional fee will apply. In case it is necessary to change the type of room, the guests will have to pay the difference.

-If the reservation is made by a third party who wants to pay the amount, the hotel must be contacted in advance.

- The maximum capacity of the rooms cannot be exceeded.

- All special requests are subject to availability and may incur an additional cost.

- Guests from 2 to 11 years old are considered children.

- Drinks are not included in the half board rate.

- At OA BEACH CLUB: hammocks, Balinese beds and umbrellas have an additional charge.

- The restaurants are open according to occupation and season and at the discretion of the management.

- There are days that only one restaurant opens.

- Half board: it is informed on arrival of the customer in which restaurant dinner is given every night.

-Half board rate for December 24th. will include a special Christmas Dinner with a reinforced menu and a Christmas touch. ( Drinks not included and non refundable).

We have fulfilled the dream of bringing the first MICHELIN Star to Arona, after years of hard work and dedication.

We want to express our deep gratitude to all those who have been part of this culinary journey, to our enormous team, the Villa Cortés family, for their exceptional dedication and to all our clients who have been unconditionally supportive.

The effort has been worth it, we are very happy and committed in the future to continue offering the best of us in each dish to provide an exceptional gastronomic experience.

The hotel will be completely closed for renovations from May 4th to 20th, 2026.

Please note that Taste 1973 Restaurant will be closed from April 12th, 2026 to June 16th, 2026, both included.
