  Big dissapointment

  Liked: Staff upon check in were friendly.

  Disliked: The facilities were old and dated. The room furniture was chipping paint. The couch was incredibly uncomfortable and made of plastic The a/c didn't work and we had to call the maintenance people twice to fix it, with it finally working with a set of plastic bottles to replace broken reservoirs. The food at the restaurant was so mediocre (rubbery meat, tasteless veggies) that we had to go outside for our next dinner. Finally, they gave us a room on the ground floor looking at the parking lot even though the resort seemed only 20 percent full with plently of rooms overlooking the garden.

  Liked: Hotel was absolutely stunning, staff were all friendly, hotel very clean and very good buffet for food

  Disliked: The only thing is it is on the top of the mountain so if you wanted to walk down to the beach its a long way. coming back would be hard as it is on top of the mountain.

  Liked: It was very peaceful and was easy to get to and park.The room was great,spacious and clean but no English TV channels.

  Disliked: The hotel seemed to lack atmosphere,nobody around to watch the evening show,but it's not in season I suppose.

  Loved it!!

  Liked: Great location with amazing views and ground. A great base location if you’re travelling around the island. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was very approachable. We had just breakfast included which ticked all the boxes. Great parking facilities and a fantastic hotel.

  Disliked: Only one thing I would mention is that this hotel is best suited to those who rent a car as it’s a little out the way which in my opinion is great to have a bit of tranquility on holiday.

  Liked: Nice location, good staff and properly cleaned property.

  Disliked: Hotel Las Águilas enjoys a nice location, with friendly and helpful staff, and the property is kept clean and well maintained. These are certainly commendable aspects of the hotel. However, I feel that the in-room amenities could be improved to better align with the expectations of a 4-star property. During my stay, there was no complimentary bottled drinking water, electric kettle, tea or coffee-making facilities, or basic toiletries in the room. Guests also need to request various amenities separately, with additional charges applying to certain facilities, including the in-room safe. While I appreciate that hotels have different policies regarding complimentary services, the availability of basic conveniences can make a significant difference to the overall guest experience. Overall, the hotel's location, cleanliness, and staff are definite positives. With some improvements to the in-room facilities and greater attention to guest convenience, Hotel Las Águilas could offer an experience that more fully meets the expectations associated with its 4-star rating.
