Did not get to stay in the rented appartment and had to pay 60 EUR cancellation fee

Liked: We did not get in to the appartment as some electronical system was not working and we did not get needed information. We needed to pay over 60 EUR cancellation fee ourselves. Do not recomend! Very bad experience.

Disliked: We did not get in to the appartment as some electronical system was not working and we did not get needed information. We needed to pay over 60 EUR cancellation fee ourselves. Do not recomend! Very bad experience. Host should have checked that their system worked and if it did not work, they should have noticed us, not the other way around when we were already behind the appartment building door and could not get in to the building. This kind of thing can spoil your whole vacation day and mood.

Liked: We had a very pleasant stay in the apartment. Although it was a bit difficult to find at first, after contacting the host we had no problem reaching the place. The apartment looked exactly like in the photos – spacious and comfortable. The only downside was the lack of a window in one of the bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was equipped with all the essentials needed to prepare meals. In the bathroom, there was a bathtub and toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. A washing machine was available, along with laundry capsules, which was a nice touch. It would have been great to have a few more towels. The beach was just a 2-minute walk away – rocky but peaceful. A large supermarket was nearby, which was very convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and calm, with no major attractions, but the town of Garachico was just a 6-minute drive away. Overall, we had a great time and would genuinely recommend this apartment.
