Liked: Lovely spacious open plan apartment. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom etc. Nice quiet surroundings and instructions were clear on how to get there. We were unlucky with the weather so couldn’t the outdoor area which did look lovely.
Disliked: It was cold in the evening but I think we were unlucky with the weather. I don’t think this would usually be an issue
Liked: Papaya Cottage was very comfortable. We slept really well on a lovely bed. Beautiful garden. Property was great for the two of us. Very quiet, easy to relax, read a book as well being able to walk down to the town and enjoy all amenities and the sea front. Nayra was more than helpful with ideas and information of places to visit in the area. If you want a low key break in an authentic Spanish seaside town then you will enjoy Punta del Hidalgo. Car advised and be aware you are on the coast surrounded by steep hills which in our opinion give it character.

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation in Tenerife. The owners were incredibly supportive and always available, offering plenty of helpful advice about the surrounding neighborhood. Their warm and attentive approach truly made our stay feel special. The property itself is in an excellent location for a relaxing holiday, with great access to hiking trails, natural swimming pools, cafés, and a supermarket. Compared to other accommodations, this one really stands out for the thoughtful facilities provided—everything from toilet paper to garbage bags was well stocked, which made our stay much more comfortable. Overall, we slept incredibly well and enjoyed the calm, peaceful atmosphere. We highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet, well-located base in Tenerife with genuinely caring hosts.
