Liked: The hotel is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are spacious and clean, with towels and bed linen changed daily. The gym is well-equipped and clean. The food was excellent; both breakfast and dinner offered a wide variety, with the menu changing every day. Parking can always be found around the hotel.

Nice greenery on the grounds but would not come back
Liked: The coastal walking path was closeby and the apartment we got was very spacious
Disliked: The location of the hotel is very remote, which we knew but it was worse than we thought. We didn’t have a car so we walked everywhere, which as others have noted is quite a journey as the hills are very steep. We often walked to Lidl for groceries which was about a 30 min walk. We chose the hotel because of the “active” and “health” element. We thought the hotel would have had more active activities like organised hikes etc since it seems to be catered to that target group, but the only hike they could recommend to us was the coastal hike. There was literally nothing else they could advise us without a car. We knew in advance it was remote, so we opted for half board and we really regretted it. Personally, we thought dinner started way too late for an entire hotel. We also found the choices to be very limited and the staff to be quite rude. I had brought a water bottle from the hotel room which the hotel provided and the staff got very aggressive about the water bottle and watched us the entire dinner (I did not dare drink from it). I understand you don’t want outside food and drinks, but water?!? As a result we had quick meals and left. The options were also not as healthy as advertised.
Liked: Gym and pool.
Disliked: The buffet style dinner was not on par with the expectations. Would have preferred buffet appetizers, but restaurant service for main courses.
Liked: We had a great time staying here! The breakfast was very good with loads of options. The room was very clean and beds were comfy. There was limited parking next to the hotel, but we always found free spaces on the street next to the hotel if the main carpark was full. It was great value for the money!

Disliked: Stunk of damp in the room with a few cockroaches
