Nice apartment with private parking and a balcony with the most beautiful view

A deep disappointment
Liked: The view was great, overlooking the sea, but there were rehabilitation works on the seafront and the promenade that started around 7 am and the noise could be heard from the apartment.
Disliked: The location was filthy, dirty, frowzy, slimy, smeary and greasy.There was dust and mold in the bedroom, slime, dirt and hair in the bathroom, grease, grime and broken glass on the kitchen floor. It was a health hazard!!! We paid for 7 nights, a month in advance!, we stayed only one night because it was late when we arrived and we were very tired, I asked for a refund for the other 6 nights, but the man who handles reservations said that this is not possible due to booking policy. I spoke to him on the phone and on WhatsApp and he was very surprised to hear what condition the apartment was in and wanted to send someone to clean it and offered us a free dinner, I refused because given how miserable the place was we should have waited at least 2 days.
Liked: The apartment has everything one needs for holidays. It is located in a quiet place. The city itself is tiny, but other cities are easily reachable by car/bus. The internet speed is very high. Both the living room and the sleeping room face the ocean.
Disliked: If one sleeps in the living room, there is a street light right outside the window. The curtains in the living are not dark enough to block that light. We improvised with an additional curtain.
This is a place we’d love to come back to again and again!
Liked: Loved this place - exactly what we were looking for! So peaceful, no one around at the time, just the (loud!) sound of the waves. Stunning views from the balcony of the beach, ocean, surf, and cliffs, and a gorgeous mountain on the other side. Huge thanks to the host - the apartment has everything you need for a day at the beach or everyday life, even little things like needles and a rainy-day umbrella. Super handy thah thay have underground parking for your rental car!
Disliked: It would’ve been even better if: – the beach wasn’t so steep and rocky — there’s no easy access to the water and nowhere safe for small children to swim. Without special shoes, going into the sea is really painful – the balcony felt a bit more private — people walk along the promenade just a couple of metres away – the fly screen door to the balcony didn’t keep falling off its track every time you open or close it;-)
