Fabulous
Montreux comfort
Liked: Convenient Montreux location, higher up, away from the lake, by a bit more than a comfy walk. The unit was spacious for >4 adults, had a fully functional kitchen, laundry facilities, and for an older structure the doors/windows worked surprisingly well. We found it charming.
Disliked: Air conditioning was hard to find in Montreux, at the last minute. We looked exclusively and were a little disappointed. Stand alone interior A/C units need to exhaust their heat outside. While the house had three, none adequately did so. The entire upstairs was hot, as two were simply feeding back into the rooms. The downstairs vented into, and partially back out of, the fireplace. It still took the temperature down. A proper install could make the place a '10'.

Liked: Great location, great facilities, on bus line, great view, great communication
It is ok but not worth for money unless it is renovated and upgraded because the faciliy is quite old

Disliked: The lights are not bright, we don’t feel comfortable at night. Some cooking tools are dirty and old. We have to wash before using.
Liked: The apartment was nice and close to the lake. There was a bakery just in front where you can get fresh bread. Rooms were spacious and clean. There was one parking space infront of the apartment and many other parking zones nearby.
Disliked: Bed covers and towels were having a smell which might have happened if they were not dried perfectly. Kitchen was usable and had everything but utensils were not very clean.
Liked: The property is at a great location with a great view. The host is very kind and helpful and approachable.
