Lovely old hotel with great views
Liked: Great locaiton, a lovely view over the lake, near to the attractions, castle is a short walk away. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Disliked: Room needs repainting. Too many marks, chips etc on the walls and skirting boards.

Disliked: Our room and bathroom were in réal need of tlc and modernisation. In fairness, we were offered a well appointed suite initially but very minimalist and ‘cold’ with no lake view. We changed to a suite on the 6th floor with a lake view to die for but stains on the carpets and in real need of a refurb! Staff were great.
