Liked: We would like to commend the female staff member who warmly welcomed and assisted us upon our arrival. She was very friendly, approachable, and made us feel comfortable asking questions about the hotel and how to get to different places. Her helpfulness made our arrival a pleasant experience. We would also like to recognize the rest of the staff, who were all very accommodating, courteous, and attentive throughout our stay. Excellent hospitality and customer service! And the room was very spacious

Old school atmosphere, stunning view
Liked: I liked the old-school atmosphere of the hotel, but the view is the highlight of my stay. The lake is also very close, maybe a 2/3 min walk. The train station was also within a 7 minute walking distance.
Disliked: It would’ve been nice to have a tea kettle in the room.
Great location, classic atmosphere
Liked: I booked a single room, but during my three-night stay, I was upgraded to a spacious twin room. It was a pleasant surprise! The room was very comfortable, fully equipped with air conditioning and a refrigerator, but it was a bit of a shame that there was no bathtub. The young man at the front desk was extremely kind and friendly. Unfortunately, the other staff members (a few women and one older man) were surprisingly unprofessional for a hotel of this class, and their attitude was far too casual.
A good hotel if visiting central Montreux, our cheap room was a reflected in quality
Liked: Our twin bed room was a little dated in appearance but was clearly part of the old unrenovated part of the hotel. The room size was good and the view of the surrounding hills and back of the church was better than we expected. The room had a mini bar fridge which was useful. The bathroom fittings were dated but with a bidet which is unusual these days. The main plus is the hotel is in the centre near the casino.
Disliked: The only issue we had was the cost of the parking at 25CHF a night with a 50CHF deposit for the garage key. The garage is close and secure but without the ability to stop outside the hotel, bags had to be carried up stairs.
Montreaux in October
Liked: Great location, a 3 min walk to the water, bus stop next door and on one of the main streets.
Disliked: It would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room, free of charge.
