  Everything Great

  Liked: The host couple (sorry forgotten their names) are lovely, the house is beautiful. Nothing was a problem. There were roadworks in the street which meant no parking, that was arranged at a neighbouring property. Breakfast was great. You can tell this couple have been doing this for years!

  Liked: Booked here at the last minute after a disastrous 30-minute stay at a larger city-centre hotel, and I’m so pleased I did — what a gem! The host was incredibly welcoming, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The little attic room was warm, cosy and absolutely immaculate, with beautifully fresh-smelling bedding and towels. The dining area was equally spotless, and breakfast was cooked to order. After the experience I’d just had, it was lovely to find somewhere so welcoming and well cared for. I had a really peaceful night and slept very well. Thank you for such a lovely stay! 😊

  Liked: Such friendly hosts...so helpful. Great location within easy walking distance to the City.

  Disliked: It would have been extra nice if there was a wee lounge or garden to sit in...but didn't detract from our stay.

  The perfect small hotel

  Liked: Great, quiet location with cheap parking nearby. Hotel was very clean & the hosts welcoming and friendly. The single bedroom is perfect for a lone traveller like myself and the breakfast was lovely, best bacon I’ve tasted in years. Highly recommended.
