  Disliked: Review title: Extremely disappointing experience – multiple cleanliness and maintenance issues Unfortunately, our experience with this accommodation was extremely disappointing and took a significant amount of time away from our trip. The problems started before we had even properly entered the property. There were cobwebs around the entrance and across the keyhole, which I had to remove myself before I could insert the key. Inside, we found further cobwebs and spiders, including around the Wi-Fi equipment. The condition of the accommodation also did not reflect the impression we had been given by the listing. There was visible deterioration to walls and finishes, and we had concerns about the security arrangements and the lower-ground/basement-style access to the property. The bathroom was particularly concerning. We found dark staining/apparent mould around the shower seals and corners, hair left on the shower control, a leaking shower, and difficulty regulating the water to a comfortable temperature — it was either excessively hot or cold. We photographed and filmed these issues. The listing also advertised a fitness room, but we could not find any fitness room available to us. What made the experience worse was the amount of our holiday that was then spent dealing with problems that, in my view, should have been identified through proper cleaning, maintenance and inspection before guests arrived. We repeatedly contacted the accommodation provider and Booking.com, sent photographs and videos, and were offered a cleaner and maintenance attendance only after we had already checked in and reported the problems ourselves. We ultimately sought relocation. Initially, we were told we would have to pay the £107 price difference for the alternative accommodation, which we eventually agreed to simply so that we could move on with our trip. The handling of our departure added further frustration.

  A lovely clean apartment, next to Pittodrie Stadium

  Liked: A lovely apartment, clean, tidy and modern. All questions answered in a timely manner.

  Disliked: Parking was confusing to start with. In front of the property you have single yellow lines. You can park there fine any time, but during game time (stadium is next to the apartment), you have to move the car elsewhere. The inside brochure does state that the unallocated parking adjacent to the building is available, but a message confirmation stated that wasn't the case. I cannot confirm noise level during matches, as I was away during that time (due to being away with the car). And walking back, you are met with a sea of people, so if you're out and about near the house near game time, you know what that's like.

  Liked: The apartment is very comfortable, located in the basement with an independent entrance on the side of the building. It was fully equipped, with a complete kitchen and a very comfortable bed, and it was spotlessly clean. I had an issue in the bathroom that was solved within half an hour,someone came to fix it in 30 minutes, believe me,even though it was Saturday night. The customer service is impeccable. Eliza is very professional and highly responsive when you contact her by message.
