Poorly equipped kitchen. Cold. Lifeless. Hard to open doors

Liked: I liked the location, proximity to bus stop. Laundry machine and dryer.

Disliked: The weird way you had to open doors with two hands so could never carry things in and out of your room like a glass of water for example. And you had to open several doors like this to get anywhere within the building. You would have to set it on the floor as there was no other place to put it. There were far more désirable places to rent but this one had a kitchen. However it lacked any salt and no oven mits. Which I didn’t discover until after shopping and putting my food in the oven. The kitchen is horribly equipped. Host did nothing about this. They should not even state they have one. No traveler travels either a thing of salt in their luggage. Common areas cold. Host was polite but couldn’t be bothered and was not on site. Was confused as to why each key ring for each room had only one key for the front door and each room. Can each room key open all other rooms? It just felt cold and lifeless. Never again will I go there. More investment property where the people owning it have no interest in hospitality than a « guest » house.

The house was full of strangers, that managed to getogether in the evening for a chat and a cup of coffee to discuss our

Liked: I’ve stayed before and it’s like coming home, I’d messaged the owner with a request for a ground floor room and she managed to get me one. It’s quiet, has everything you’d want and more.

  Disliked: Nothing to dislike
