  Living room wasn’t fit for purpose

  Liked: The bedrooms were clean and well furnished.

  Disliked: The sofa was so old and cracked we just didn’t want to sit on it. It looked and felt dirty. The coffee table was so wobbly and badly put together that it was unusable.

  Worked well for family catch up

  Liked: Location, layout, clean and warm

  Disliked: Shaky beds, tables. chipped crockery. Old food in cupboard, dirty washing left. Communication with host could have been better

  Don't expect a garden view but well located for an overnight stay in central Aberdeen

  Liked: The central location in Aberdeen was great. It was fairly modern and spacious. 3 double beds was good for our party and the beds were comfy, though very noisy. The price was reasonable.

  Disliked: It is a basement flat - not quite fitting with a 'Garden view', though you can see people's feet as they walk past... It was pretty gloomy and could do with more lighting in the living area along with better heating - the heating didn't work, though I imagine they may have turned the radiators off as the hot water did work well. The instructions on how to enter the property didn't arrive until 2 hours before check-in, despite me contacting them via email and text so this made me worry this was a 'fake' listing of a property.

  Excellent space, location, lacking in maintenance and communication

  Liked: Good location, generous living accomodation, 2 wc. Nice bedding and towels. Good sized pans for cooking for 5. Allocated parking bay.

  Disliked: Only mentioned £150 deposit the day we were due to visit. Unkempt entry area/stairs V noisy from street and upstairs Light breakfast for 5 people was 7 small boxes of cereal, 1 croissant, half pint of milk. I sent 3 messages none of which were answered. Kitchen table and coffee tables were really wobbly, like they hadn’t been put together properly. There is really only 1 usable shower in the en-suite. In the bathroom the shower cable came from the mixer tap and there was no place to hang it or a shower curtain. You couldn’t stand up because of the coomb ceiling. To have a bath you had to unscrew the shower attachment. Was not ideal with 5 people using the en-suite shower. Still items from last guests in drawers Dodgy door on fridge Although the sofas provided enough seating, the sofas were really passed their best
