  Liked: Very spacious flat with a comfortable settee and a lovely kitchen with a table and chairs great shower and plenty towels and a comfortable bed someone put a lot of thought into the flat with books etc and a few nice pieces that decorate it.

  Disliked: The gulls and their early morning wake up calls lol but that's Aberdeen no matter where you go in the city.

  Avoid! So bad we left within 5mins of arriving and booked a hotel!

  Liked: Nothing! I couldn't fit everything into what I didn't like below so have had to use this space too!!! If you like scatter flats this is the place for you..... I cannot believe that someone thinks it is acceptable to rent that place out for that price, or even at all in that state. First impressions start at the roadside and we actually thought we were at the wrong place and there must be some kind of mistake and from there on in it got worse! I actually feel quite annoyed about it now and wish I took photographs but didn't want to hang around in the place. We had already wasted precious time and money from a 2 night stay so just wanted to get into somewhere with an acceptable standard and felt we only had two options to either go home or book somewhere else and having already driven for 2 hours to get there felt it was probably better to cut our losses and book somewhere else.

  Disliked: On arrival people were shouting from across the road and a man either out his face on drugs or alcohol was standing right at the doorway (not the hosts fault but gives an idea of the area). The stairway is awful, it smells, it's damp and dirty and quite frankly a bit scary looking. The smell stayed with us when we got back in the car, it was disgusting. There was no mention that there was so many stairs, my wife has a heart condition and thought the stairs were going to kill her! There was no way she could go up and down them all the time. We booked for two nights and only spent 5 mins in the apartment and decided we were definitely not staying and had to fork out the same cost again for a hotel! The apartment itself is very tired, run down and felt very grubby. The kitchen cabinets felt like they were falling apart, the grout between the tiles in the shower and the bedroom carpet looked like they needed a good clean and the floor....it can only be described as unsafe!! It feels like it is about to fall through and is very uneven to walk on. I expect somewhere to feel as clean as it would be at home and this definitely didn't do this hence the reason we decided not to stay! The building across the road was very noisy when we arrived so dread to think what its like later at night. My wife felt like someone is trying to make it look nice in terms of decor but in actual fact it is only trying to put a plaster over a place needing much more than paint and cushions before renting it out. The photos are VERY deceiving, it looks lovely on the photos but in reality it is a very different case. To be honest, it was our 20th wedding anniversary and we couldn't plan to go too far due to my wife experiencing recent health issues and we felt this was a total rip off! It ended up costing us over £500 for 2 nights in Aberdeen and so we were very disappointed.

  Disliked: Microwave was very very dirty had t been clean in weeks Freezer was all frosted over with ice so food we bought went into bucket TV don't even watch netflix can't get a signal in apartment due and upgrade absolutely shocking damp up above middle window in apartment flooring is warped as well bed as old as the hills wood of skirting boars in bathroom never going back to this apartment too many negative for here
