Disliked: A bit seedy. Compared to YHA’s across the UK, this was a decidedly down market hostel.

⭐ 11/10 – One of the Best Hostels I’ve Ever Stayed In!

Liked: Botanic Avenue Hostel in Belfast was honestly the best! It’s very close to the city centre and tour bus stops, with plenty of restaurants nearby, making it the perfect location for exploring the city. The hostel is exceptionally clean, and the rooms and common areas are spacious. They provide towels, and the bathrooms are proper, clean, and comfortable. Honestly, you’ll feel more like you’re staying in a hotel than a hostel! You also get a large locker with a key, which is great for keeping your belongings safe. As a solo female traveller, I felt so happy with my choice of accommodation. This hostel will always be at the top of my list of favourite places to stay during my travels. ❤️ There’s also a lovely, clean kitchen that you can use, and you can enjoy breakfast and tea during your stay, which is such a nice bonus. I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this place. Everything was fantastic, from the cleanliness and facilities to the location and overall experience. If you’re visiting Belfast, especially as a solo traveller, I highly recommend staying here. 11/10, without a doubt! ✨

Disliked: That I couldn’t stay in this hostel longer in Belfast 🤭

Liked: Great location near Queens University and also easy walking distance from the city centre. Very nicely taken care of hostel. The bathrooms and shower rooms were really nice too.

    Disliked: Pillows could be better.

Liked: Spacious hostel. Comfortable mattress. Great bathroom with an actual shower not a cubicle.

Disliked: Do not do your laundry here if you care about your clothes!! I had already paid the £7 (good value though) for wash and dry, then realised you’re not allowed to do this yourself. Very frustrating experience if you want particular settings or to take things in/out the dryer. Would have been helpful if the staff mentioned this before payment!
