  Why stay anywhere in Belfast when you can stay here?

  Liked: Peter's hospitality, local knowledge, experience of history, convenience to Park Run, the breakfast scones, near to Queens, and coming to my rescue when I was let down by next accommodation

  Disliked: That I had to leave so early in the morning to catch my aeroplane

  Comfortable and interesting

  Liked: The host Peter is very personable and helpful. He has a modest but clean and comfortable set up, beds very comfy, towels and hot shower, kettle and tea in room, breakfast included. Close enough to city center in the irish gaeltacht region. Very interesting and historical area. I'd recommend a stay here if you want a cheap and cheerful rest with a sound host. Buses very close and taxi was just 8 pounds to the center. Belfast is a great city, very vibrant and alternative. An underrated Irish city with tons of character and sights to see.

  Liked: Peter is a very accommodating fella who has a generally clean house. He was very eager to tell us about the history of northern Ireland and Belfast (which we appreciated greatly). Don't expect anything past what you pay for. All in all if you can deal with cigarettes it is a hard location to beat for the price and hospitality.

  Disliked: BE WARNED!!!! If you are not okay with cigarettes beings smoked near you, inside the house or around the house do not stay here. The whole house smells of cigarettes and Peter constantly smokes all over the property. We had trouble sleeping due to the heavy odor of cigarettes.

  A lovely stay

  Liked: Our stay would not have been the same if we had not met Peter, who shared with us stories, gave us advices and recommendations. The place is a piece of history. Beds are extremely comfortable, breakfast is good and conversation even better! Perfect location too.
