Overall good apartment just needs some small touches

Liked: Apartment is in a good location about five minutes walk to town centre. The apartment was very clean. There is an Iceland supermarket in the same building.

Disliked: Apartment needs some small touches like bedside tables and lamps, coffee table and cushions in the lounge. Also some more info would be useful. The building fire alarm went off while we were there but no info on what to do.

  Liked: Nothing

Disliked: Had to drive around the building 4 times before we could find the location of the lock-box AND find a place to park the car to be able to get to it. The key fob provided took ages to be recognised. There was nowhere to stop to take the bags out of the car as all spots filled by taxis and the street was full of people coming out of the homeless shelter. If you could find a spot it was on double yellow lines. Once on the apartment floor, the walk to the apartment was like walking to a prison cell. The only difference was that the doors had some colour. I asked a couple of times to get information about the parking which was noted on the information but the host never answered me. We eventually found it but had to spend some time loading app without wifi and sorting out how to pay for the parking. It would have been nice to have had some information in advance. The toilet seat in the bathroom was not really the right one for the toilet and the shower mechanism was not in great shape so didn't even try to use it. There were no bedside cabinets or stands so had to drag in chairs to the bedrrom and no luggage racks so bags had to be left on the floor...........

Liked: Very comfy bed, nicely furnished too and more spacious than expected

Disliked: The key retrieval is a bit complicated, and some of the minor fittings could do with a spruce

Liked: We loved how easy it was to connect with the host. There were a few things we needed help with and he was always happy to help. The space was great for our needs and we LOVED having a fan! The place was clean and felt safe.

Disliked: Honestly, this was an exceptional stay! There were some hiccups, but that wasn’t the host’s fault. He made sure everything in his control ran smoothly and efficiently. He was quick to be in contact and respond to questions / concerns.
