    Great find

Liked: Gorgeous quirky hotel, loved our room and the very friendly staff. Very big bed, water, tea, coffee available in room. The curtains are the best blackout curtains I've ever come across.

Disliked: Lift was out of order but had been well informed prior to arrival. Not an issue but you do need to be fit. Bit more water pressure in the showers would be great

    Nice bar area

Liked: Lovely bar area, loads of eating places around the area to go to, not far from train access, which was great if getting train, get off at botanic area right beside hotel, lovely staff, comfy bed, warm room,

Disliked: For a deluxe king room I did expect it to be bigger, the windows could have done with closing tighter to keep street noise out more, we where met with a smell of sewage as we entered the foyer, the water in coffee machine would needed changing in the room it must have been sitting in it a while. Couple wee biscuits would have been nice, bear in mind when booking the lift is out of order, you will get a message about this after it's been booked, the stairwell could be signed better for room numbers for directions as there is alot of doors, maybe brightened up very dark stairway and corridors, a wee freshen up in bathroom floor and doors, I know these are minor, but little things count. For the price.

    Overpriced with the amenities offered

Liked: Location was around 25mins from airport. 20 min walk from centre. Taxi cost £8 to get to titanic. £5 if you wanted a lift to the centre for dinner etc Bed was really comfortable Room was spacious

Disliked: Honestly, I was so disappointed with our stay. From booking and leading up to our stay the staff had been very helpful. Our room we was given was on 3rd floor which was fine, but it was so loud outside even with the windows shut the noise woke us up most of the first night. There was no coffee in our room, we had coffee machine pods but no machine and no sachets. Our tv didn’t work Our shower was boiling with no option to turn down. The first morning we did ask if we could have coffee, ear plugs (as we didn’t want to move and cause an issue) and if our shower could be looked at and tv. When we return Monday around 5pm the above had not been done. So we had to re ask. Reception advised they would take alook. We returned to our room Monday night around 10:30pm to find reception had checked our shower at 6pm and left it on causing the whole room to be soaked with condensation and feeling like a sauna. With water damage to some of our belongings. I spoke with the night porter James who was very helpful he advised he could move us rooms and was very apologetic about the damage. Giving us drink vouchers and tea/coffee. He managed to moved us rooms which was not ideal at 11pm at night. He also left a note for reception for Tues. Tuesday morning we was not approached by reception or spoken to about the damage. Tuesday evening James checked in on us and asked if we had been spoken to — which we hadn’t and he was concerned. And said he would speak to reception again. On check out we was charged for drinks we had Monday night which I was disappointed with considering the issues and damage we had had. Also advise there were no notes or anything mentioned on our booking about the shower issues and damage. I am extremely disappointed considering how much I paid for this stay. And it wasn’t a simple issue. Our clothes were soaked. Makeup that was in the bathroom damaged. Ruining a few days away for my sisters birthday.
