Very good
Very pleasant stay. Perfect situation for our Autumn visit to the area
Liked: The breakfast was super. A comprehensive buffet, and freshly cooked hot dishes served by efficient staff. A special mention for the young lady on her first day. Charming! The view is without doubt the highlight. Lucky to have a Harbour facing room, and two glorious sunsets during our three night stay. The room was huge! Double patio doors with an unrestricted view, and plenty of seating. Very comfortable.
Disliked: A few aspects of the room that could be better. The mattresses, despite being "Hypnos", are not as comfortable as Premier Inn. When configured as a Kingsize, straying anywhere near the centre line is greeted by a hard ridge running the length of the bed. The pillows were far too hard, resembling a rubberised brick! Maybe a choice between two firm, and two medium, would give a more comfortable night. A safe would be useful. Always nervous having to find hiding places, as it's not advisable to leave all your valuables in the spa lockers. The wardrobe in Room 104 could be turned 90 degrees to catch some light. We needed a torch to find our clothing in the pitch dark corner. Finally, Im not a fan of;clingy; shower curtains. - Desptie all those minor niggles, we would definitely stay again.
Lovely location, fabulous breakfasts! Staff lovey, however they need training in customer service. There were issues
Liked: Location
Disliked: Lack of attention to detail I will email separately - staff are lovely but they need appropriate training Facilities is some areas very poor / dated / worn
Highly Recommend
Liked: The views, location, Restaurant,Natasha general manager was amazing, helpful, welcoming, size of our twin room
Disliked: Dated corridors & rooms, Reception area dated. The hotel should pop when you first walk in.
Excellent location and hotel comfortable and met our needs
Liked: Excellent location, room was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking.
Disliked: The windowsills in the bedroom needed repair and were draughty. The shower was not up to the standard of the hotel and no bath mat to prevent slips. Breakfast a bit chaotic.
Liked: View & staff excellent. Breakfast & food fabulous with good choices
Disliked: No walk in shower for elderly father in law
One night in Poole
Liked: The location was great with fabulous views from the bar/dining room Very clean and comfortable
Disliked: Parking could be a bit tricky in a bigger car
