  Great apartment with some niggles that could be easily fixed

  Liked: Great location property, very close to the beach, and the apartment was very spacious and well equipped to a high standard including fixtures and fittings. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms very modern / nice. Views were fantastic (with a caveat which I mention in my dislikes). The host was lovely, super communicative and very helpful.

  Disliked: Lots of small niggles really but at this price point they shouldn’t be there, plus one big one. Small niggles The outdoor furniture had no cushions so we couldn’t sit on it. The indoor sofa was pretty uncomfortable and there was nowhere to put drinks when you were sitting on it. The TV remote didn’t work properly - assume it was just batteries needed but that should be checked The controls for the taps were super funky design wise but very difficult to operate. On street parking was at a premium and sometimes no spaces were available on the same road. Big niggle The view in the pictures is not a fair representation as there is building work going on next door which blocks a decent chunk of it.

  Have stayed in much better properties for the price paid

  Liked: Whilst it was evident that a great investment was made sadly due to new building works that the view that is depicted in the advertising now gives a false representation

  Disliked: Overpriced - number of maintenance and cleaning issues plus no instructions relating to use of Tv.No terrestial tv obviously available.

  Great location, personally it is not luxury as advertised and the penthouse is like a green house

  Liked: Location and view was nice.

  Disliked: The penthouse was like a hot box especially in this heat, a aircon unit should be fitted to make the stay more pleasant. Also fans need to be provided if they have no aircon. The outside area was not cleaned properly and had cobwebs everywhere and lastly the cups and cutlery where dirty inside the cupboard.

  A few problems but nothing too major

  Liked: The views are great

  Disliked: The second bedroom is a tad small with no mirror and no dressing table I had to keep going into our friends bedroom to use a mirror etc and hairdryer!! The first night the bed was uncomfortable we then discovered one side of the bed where the slats slot in was collapsed thus making me feel like I was half on the floor 🤦🏼‍♀️ but my husband popped them back in and needless to say I had a better nights sleep the second night 👍 Small bathroom off of the landing also needs somewhere to put toiletries etc

  Disappointing stay

  Liked: The location.

  Disliked: Not informed about building site next door. Uncomfortable bed. Pillows are in pair state and need replacing. Dead plants!!!! Plastic plants dirty. Windows dirty. One of the blinds had paint on it. Sofa cushion covers grubby. Wardrobe door handle missing. Sink tap wobbly Some other fittings in need of repair. Decor generally tired looking. Unnecessarily complicated light switches. Fire pit full of ash and just one small bag of logs. No terrestrial TV channels available and some TV apps (eg my 5) kept buffering. No full length mirror or bins in main bedroom. Pation furniture all over the place and rugs screwed up underneath. Walkway along rear of apartment full of junk and a lump of trellis that fell down during the night. The above prompted us to look for other reviews of which there are many which mention some of the above issues for the past two years. It's such a shame as the location and potential is super but clearly suffering from neglect. As the bed and pillows were so uncomfortable, we only stayed o e night instead of the two we booked at a cost of nearly £700. To conclude, the photos looked so lovely but if we had read all if the reviews before our stay, we wouldn't have gone. We were so looking forward to a couple if nights in what appeared to be a fabulous apartment in a special location, generally disappointed.
