Fabulous
Liked: Comfortable room and nice shower. Convenient for parking/driving to local sights. Really lovely staff and good food. Excellent place for our autumn break.
Disliked: Very attractive, comfortable good quality furnishings and decoration. The only things I would sort out are a heavy duty curtain pull, one bright lamp close to coffee machine, and stop handbasin tap dripping.
A nice hotel, but overpriced
Liked: The location was good and the room was nicely decorated.
Disliked: If I had paid £150 for this room I would have been happy. But at £239 for one person I would have expected to have been able to get a drink at the bar after 11pm, to have had breakfast earlier than 8am. I would have wanted a long mirror in the bedroom, a mirror that I could actually see in the bathroom, real milk in the fridge,not just sachets of oat milk and a bottle of mineral water in the room, not just warm tap water. I also couldn’t park in the car park as this is a pub with rooms rather than a hotel and staying guests are not prioritised. I enjoyed my stay, but this was not value for money.
A lovely place to stay
Liked: Location. Relaxed atmosphere, Friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Small room was pretty tight to get around in, fire exit not on same floor.
Lovely hotel in a location near a fantastic sandy beach
Liked: We booked last minute, and the hotel was lovely, our room was beautiful with air con, the staff were super friendly and the food we had was excellent. The hotel had free parking and the location was really close to a fantastic beach. We would like to visit again
Disliked: Nothing, it was all fantastic
Liked: Lovely room. Perfect location for us. Great staff. Great breakfast. Good wine list.
Disliked: Cleanliness wasn’t the best. Curtain was broken, shower head leaked and the taps were hard to make sure they turned off properly. Hairs in shower, dusty on the snacks so they must have been there a while, the “taking a nap sign” stopped the door from shutting so we had to quickly slam it so it didn’t get caught.
