Fabulous
Great
Liked: Great room and location to the town centre Food was great Staff were friendly
Disliked: The shower isn’t closed in properly so water goes everywhere, all over the floor which isn’t ideal at all
Liked: Very nice room clean and tidy Great breakfast Superb staff
Disliked: Pillows are abit hard but I understand this is personal preference WiFi slow
Definitely recommend - brilliant stay
Liked: We visited our daughter at University and booked this place through booking.com. Tbh we weren’t expecting too much as it was a pretty cheap deal for the double room including breakfast but how wrong we were!! What a find…we will DEFINITELY be using this over the next few years. The room was fantastic. Clean, airy with a great facilities. Good toiletries, decent tea bags, biscuits and proper fresh coffee (and fresh milk and water in the mini fridge). We decided to eat there in the evening as it was a bit stormy out and weren’t disappointed- great food freshly cooked and brilliant service (pies of the week were proper pies too - not just a lid on top). Breakfast was wonderful - especially the shakshuka. Good produce, tasty dishes- not one complaint. The staff were all really friendly and professional - we’re so glad we found this place and will continue to use it as a base when we visit Bournemouth. Also - free parking!! Looking forward to coming back and having the Sunday roast next time.
Disliked: Everything was great.
Perfect in every way!
Liked: Location was perfect for visiting our daughter. Breakfast was amazing! Staff were brilliant. Ample car parking.
Disliked: Window rattled a little, was easily fixed with a bit of cardboard.
Good location; pleasant stay
Liked: The room was a generous size and having fresh milk for our tea & coffee was a bonus; together the use of a small fridge. The location was within a 30 minute walk to the Pier and centre; it was also handy for buses and within 15 minutes walk of the station. We were happy to leave our car in the car park and walk or use public transport throughout our stay.
Disliked: Breakfast was slightly disappointing. The offer of one cup of coffee or a small pot of tea didn't match any other establishment we have stayed in. Also the advertised croissant and fruit or fruit juice was never offered to us on the 3 mornings we stayed there. There weren't many guests either, so we would have expected a slightly better service than what was offered.
Nice pub inn
Liked: Convenient location Good pub and very nice breakfast included
Disliked: Staff were lovely but could be a bit more professional; at one point they unlocked my room when I was in it and then said they didn’t have me showing as checked in. I said they should have knocked first and it was uncomfortable as I was there alone.
