    Picturesque and centrally located

Liked: Perfectly placed and great scenery. Lovely building. Staff accommodating and on the whole helpful.

Disliked: Choices for dining leave a lot to be desired. Also waiting for service and food was long, considering dining room not that large or busy.

    fantastic

Liked: Fantastic hotel. The quality of the coffee, tea and toiletries is superb. The girl who helped us check‑in and check‑out was lovely and friendly, always with a sweet smile. She was so charming. The breakfast was superb. The gentleman serving breakfast was very kind and polite. Our room was spacious, and the bed was spotlessly clean. It’s very close to all the attractions. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we return to this area.

Disliked: It can get noisy outside the back door at times.

We definitely would like to stay again, but in a better room

Liked: It was so picturesque and beautiful. The breakfast was very nice, we had a full English.

Disliked: The evening meal wasn’t enjoyable. I couldn’t eat my steak and had a refund. I don’t think the cooking of it was great although my husband ate his and really enjoyed it.
