  Liked: Have looked at staying at the Artist Residence previously but never actually got round to booking and wow, what an amazing place!! Our accommodation was stunning, we had a charming 1 bed suite that was packed full of period features and had all the luxury touches you'd expect from a top class hotel. Located right on Regency Square with a view of the sea and walking distance to all Brighton has to offer, we couldn't have chosen a better spot! The bar and dining areas are really thoughtfully laid out and presented beautifully. The staff were really warm and welcoming on check-in/out and really looked after us during our stay.....they even put together a hand picked list of places to try (and to avoid) because we wanted to get out and boogie!! We will definitely return and hopefully stay a little longer next time.

  Artistic decor with a sea view and friendly staff

  Liked: The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom had all we needed. I enjoyed the complimentary water and tea in the room. The lounge downstairs was nice to hang out in and noodle on my laptop while listening to Lana Del Rey. The staff was very helpful, finding us an extra blanket and even a chair, and friendly as well, giving some history of the hotel. The art was interesting and the decor quite distinctive. We did not try the restaurant.

  Disliked: There was not much we didn't like. The lift is a bit small and slow, and would be difficult to access as a wheelchair user without someone to open the door.
