  Liked: Spacious

  Disliked: Disappointing. Facilities were not as listed. One window was broken which meant the weather literally came into the main room. Many of the blinds didn't close properly. The water pressure was low. The parking was expensive at £36 a day.

  Unique property with sensational views and terrace, clean and well equipped

  Liked: The host provided a video walk-through to navigate to the apartment and lock box location, which was very useful considering the slightly complex building layout. The views are about as good as it gets in Brighton, the room sizes are generous and the kitchen is well stocked for utensils / glassware etc. The terrace is a unique treat for the location. The apartment makes use of the Hilton hotel facilities which on we did not end up using but would on a more relaxed weekend

  Disliked: We were in Brighton for probably the busiest weekend of the year, so it is hard to comment on the value as all available accommodation was rather £££, which was the case for our stay

  Great location and really lovely apartment

  Liked: Great location. Lovely, bright and clean apartment. Lovely bathrooms and very well kept. We really enjoyed our stay. I imagine in the summer it’s glorious especially with the patio and some outside furniture. Nothing to change, owners have done a lovely job. Perhaps add a small side table under the window for the downstairs bedroom for your cup of tea. We went to the buffet breakfast in the hotel which was great as was the fish and chip shop next door.

  Disliked: It’s not that I didn’t like this about the property. More of an observation. We had two very windy nights and I couldn’t sleep due to the noise and the rattling. Windows could do with some reinforcement perhaps. The lounge in particular as it’s very drafty (the window by the tub) and also in the main bathroom - the skylight. You can’t help the British weather though.

  Nice, but not luxury

  Liked: The flat has a luxury feel and it is very central, right by the beach, with a nice view. It is great that you can use the hotel spa. The flat was clean and the beds comfortable. It was lovely that there was coffee available and a nice coffee machine.

  Disliked: First impact, everything looks really good, but it is not actually good quality at all. For example, the oven handle was falling off and not fixed properly, the wardrobe in the downstairs room was really flimsy, and there is no other furniture like a bed side table/lamp/chair, there is quite a bit of damp on the walls and windows (see picture of the bathroom skylight), the sofa had some stains. As others mentioned, there is no outdoor furniture to actually use the roof terrace and the corridor leading to the flat is extremely dated and not the easiest to navigate (although the video in the instructions definitely helped). This is a very expensive flat for what you get.

  Liked: Was a beautiful property, with lovely views. Spacious and perfectly located within Brighton. Right on the beach, next to all the local amenities.

  Disliked: I say this being a professional cleaner myself so with a terrible eye for detail, take what I say with a pinch of salt. The property was perfectly clean to look at and was perfectly tidy. However for the price it does cost to rent for a night ( as lovely as the night was ) I will say there was definitely bits of the property that havent been cleaned in a while or havent been finished properly. However there was plenty of cleaning stuff avaliable should there be an issue. My son spilled a milkshake on the floor and I was swiftly able to clean this up. I dont believe the problems with the cleaning bits would be down to the owners more down to the cleaners of the property.
