Student halls of residence near the best bits of Brighton

Liked: Excellent student accommodation on the edge of the city centre - very fairly priced for the time of year and location. Facilities basic but perfect if you are happy to live like a student for a night or two. Would definitely use again.

Liked: Clean, comfortable and well maintained accommodation. Excellent location for the City centre, with one of the best bus services in the country. Good choice of local pubs and takeaways. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked: In the kitchen, the tin opener was so blunt as to be virtually unusable and some of the carving knives were also rather blunt. On two consecutive nights the person in the room next to me (room 1) was rather noisy after returning quite late. On the first night Richard in room 5 had to ask him to close the doors quietly. After the second night, on the morning of his departure, we believe that he took Richard's two cans of Guinness from the fridge. While I realise that this is not the responsibility of the management, I'd like to think that Phoenix Halls would consider carefully whether this young man should be given future accommodation there.
