  Exceptional

Liked: Very nice apartment, clean, comfy and relaxing. The view is spectacular and the owner was brilliant with instructions on how to check in and check out. The outside of the apartment block is nothing to write home about but you're not staying outside... once you're in the apartment it's really lovely. Everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Nice view but that’s about it

Liked: The view was fantastic and the apartment was very clean with comfortable beds. Proximity to Brightons main attractions was very good.

Disliked: I was very disappointed with this accommodation because the flat was located in a council estate block. The area felt very unsafe and I would have never booked the place had I known this was the case (none of this was mentioned in the listing) Some additional frustrations were - lift access was only available to the 15th floor but the flat was on the 16th making it hard to carry our suitcases up - although the flat was very clean, the common areas were filthy with a foul smell - The toilet had no extractor fan or windows which made it very unpleasant after use Based on the above i feel the place is far from a 4 star and was seriously overpriced.
