Shame this place has cockroaches now as it was fine before
Liked: this property is a great location for us and we've stayed here before, back in March 2026. However on arrival this time, we noticed lots of dead/dying cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom! I called Hopewell who manage the property and they weren't surprised so its obviously a problem in the block. Hopewell were great and arranged another apartment in town for us, which whilst not as convenient for location and parking, was very comfortable and lovely, and the process was relatively easy to switch over and they offered to pay for the parking for us.
Disliked: this place as cockroaches, be aware!
Crap
Disliked: The toilet stank from the moment we entered the place. The beds look like they never have been changed. The main thing is the toilets whenever you opened the door the whole apartment would stink. They took a £150 deposit told me I will get it back still haven’t received it. I would give it a miss.
Liked: We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was incredibly spacious, which made it easy to relax, and it was spotless upon arrival. The highlight for us was definitely the kitchen; it was well-stocked and the best we've seen in a rental. Would definitely book again.
Disliked: Absolutely perfect stay. There is nothing I did not like. Highly recommended!
Location was great
Liked: Clean and spacious
Disliked: Nothing
Photos are deceiving
Liked: There are restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Check in was easy
Disliked: The apartment was extremely dusty, and the fabric flooring appeared not to have been properly cleaned for a long time. The balcony had standing water, broken beer cans and litter, which made it unpleasant to use. This was also the view from the living room, which made it very difficult to feel comfortable having meals inside. There is no lift, so the apartment is not ideal if you have heavy luggage. The surrounding neighbourhood also felt quite rough, and we heard arguments outside at night. The photos appear to be heavily enhanced and do not accurately reflect the current condition of the apartment. There were several damaged and broken areas that were not apparent from the listing photos. We had booked six nights but decided to leave after just two nights because of the overall condition and experience. Unfortunately, the apartment did not live up to the expectations created by the listing.
