Public bar & restaurant were nice, our room was definitely not worth £200 per night & no breakfast

Liked: Breakfast was good but not included in the booking even though it stated that there was an allowance per person per booking.

Disliked: The room was so small there was barely space to walk around the bed or the room and the wardrobe had the mini bar at the bottom and no hanging space or any storage for clothes or bags. As our bags were too high to fit under the bed our already small room became tiny. We had to unlock 2 doors at the end of a corridor to get to our room and we were woken up at 7am on both mornings by the extractor fan that our room was directly over and was very loud.

Pleasant friendly staff but the room was overpriced and not good value

Liked: Staff friendly and mostly helpful. Good cocktails. Good evening meal.

Disliked: Shower in first room we had booked (twin) didn’t work. Given the hassle of waiting for maintenance to sort it or moving rooms we didn’t say anything until the second day. When I tried to call down to Reception to inform the staff the phone in the room didn’t work. So I tried to call the external hotel line from my mobile, but nobody answered downstairs. My friend had to walk down to physically find a member of staff to help. We were offered an alternative room upstairs (via a fire escape!) and the staff moving our stuff, which we didn’t want. We had to push for a better room next door, which was much more comfortable. The breakfast on our last morning took half an hour and it was not complicated food. There were multiple errors in the billing which took ages to sort out on check out. The manager offered complimentary drinks and tried to reach a compromise on the billing. He was considerate and polite. For what I paid (thru Booking.Com), the initial twin room I booked was very poor value. I feel like I was paying 4 star rates for a small poorly provisioned space.

Cool, trendy & comfortable. Great location, fab staff!

Liked: Really cool, great art works and fantastic staff. Very helpful.

Disliked: There was a private function which is fine but made their kitchen a little busy.
