Guest reviews
Very good
Liked: The facilities is good. The location is near to the city
Disliked: Nil
Feels like home
Liked: The whole apartment including bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, corridor/utility room and large living room is for the guest to enjoy, which is really great. The interiors are stylish and cosy indeed. The host is communicative and very helpful. Toiletries and towels provided. Close proximity to the city centre. Kitchen very well equipped.
Disliked: No hairdryer. The house may need a deep clean soon. It was certainly cleaned after the previous guest but there are areas and corners where dust and dirt gathered over time. It's a basement flat in an old house so the humidity is rather high but it's sufficiently managed so it is not a big problem (no mould, just the 'basement' smell).
Functional apartment in a good location
Liked: The location was good for what we needed and the hosts welcoming and helpful with answering questions. We were a party of three which fitted well when we used the sofa bed. The sofa bed was a large double and could have fitted a fourth person comfortably. Plenty of hot water for the shower and good water pressure. Check in/ out was easy with the key provided in a lock box outside the apartment.
Disliked: Overall the property is tired and in need of some maintenance/ renovation. The bedding, though clean was well worn and the towels were marked. The mattress on the main double bed was very soft but serviceable for us as it was only for one person. It was a real struggle to fit the provided sheet on the sofa bed and some instructions on how to use it would have been helpful though we did figure it out between us. Some nice touches had been added in terms of throws and new curtains but overall the property could do with a deep clean and coat of paint throughout. It is a good sized space with lots of potential.
Liked: Good location, nice property, good communication from hosts
Disliked: Wi-fi not great, very patchy I feel it should have been made clear that there is absolutely NO option to park on the street - there is on street parking but it's permit only...no option to buy a ticket. I dont think that this was communicated properly
Wouldn’t rebook here
Liked: It was nice and quiet hidden away
Disliked: The amount of dust in property, tv not working until second night
Superb
Liked: Cleanness
