Very good
Spacious and comfortable
Liked: I liked the spacious rooms and the spacious dining area. The staff were helpful. The gym and spa was clean.
Disliked: Maybe a little. more attention could have been paid to room allocation and requests I had sent via Booking. These were easily remedied. Lacks a bit of atmosphere and warmth in the lobby area.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, great location
Liked: Great central location, all amenities available, lovely breakfast to start the day.
Disliked: The £17 car park charge
If returning would stop again but request a room with a shower!
Liked: Well presented, had parking on site, spacious!!
Disliked: Restricted volume on TV and shower over bath rather than a step in shower!
Nice hotel right in the centre
Liked: Lovely hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Nice room and super comfy bed.
Disliked: We were really surprised when the bar staff told us it was last order at 11 and we still had almost full glasses so didn't order anything. Then 15 minutes later they just switched off the light in the restaurant and we and another guest who was writing something ended up sitting in the dark. The waitress said if we wanted light we could move to a table on the other side of the restaurant where they had left one light on?! Very peculiar why they wouldn't just leave the light on for us? Then they went home... Also the mattress cover on the foldout sofa was very stained.
Ok but wouldn’t stay again
Liked: Location, fairly clean, filtered water machines in corridor
Disliked: Bed linen had stains, room decor was worn and dated, temperature in room was warm and aircon didn’t make much difference, the noise doors make when others are entering/exiting their rooms is really loud and disturbing during the night and early morning.
The room was comfy, and the bed was too. Staff are amazing and seem a happy, helpful tram
Liked: Welcoming staff. The bar, restaurant and breakfast were clean and welcoming, staff were so lovely, Breakfast was better than the main menu. Room service was fab, rooms are a little worn, and cleanliness wasn’t great, especially for the cost. Amenities like tea and coffee were ok, limited though.
Disliked: The cleanliness was a little lacking.
