Very good
Rooms with personality in the heart of Bristol
Liked: Really good location. Rooms well designed with individuality despite small size. Good bathroom. Fresh Fruit on arrival was a nice touch.
Great hotel, quality rooms at a good price
Liked: Very comfortable room, great bed, excellent tea and coffee facilities (small point but important!), fridge in room, amazing bathroom and products. Quick friendly check in.
Disliked: I wasn't directed to the hotel's car park, I parked in the square itself which I imagine is more expensive.
Enjoyable stay
Liked: Lovely room. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Beautiful bathroom. Lounge area pleasant and relaxing. Nice location.
Disliked: Gable end directly outside the window so unable to see out. Chose not to eat in restaurant as menu lacked vegan options.
Great location and staff
Liked: Second time staying here. Staff just as helpful and efficient as last time, location perfect for university and Clifton area. Covered parking is a real advantage as it's much cheaper than on-street rates. Love the sherry and fresh fruit in the room.
Disliked: Like last time, the bar and restaurant weren't available in the evening because of a wedding, and breakfast in the morning finished early to accommodate the wedding party later on. Found breakfast a bit confusing: menu offered 3 cooked options, of which I had one, which was delicious - but the people next to me had something completely different, that wasn't on the menu at all.
Would definitely stay there again
Liked: Lovely bathroom. Nice bedroom. Fresh coffee and loose tea leaves which was nice. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. The bar area was really nice and funky.
Disliked: The fruit provided was quite old and not nice. We had a brick wall in front of most of our window (room 35).
Liked: We had two rooms on the 3rd floor. They were pretty good. Comfortable and clean. I'd advise against the sherry and fruit: both were substandard so don't offer them. And the windows were a wee bit antiquated.
Disliked: It's a great location and the staff are excellent.
