Fabulous
Good value / great location
Liked: Single room on top floor. Spotlessly clean Comfy bed. Quiet. Nice modern bathroom shared by 3 other rooms. Staff are so helpful. Free cereals for breakfast. Brilliant location and good value for money.
Disliked: Had to ask for heating to be put on. Lift out of order but hey these things happen
Liked: Location transport to airport
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: Very convenient location. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Very friendly and helpful staff
Liked: The location is good and the free breakfast (coffee and cereal) was a nice surprise.
Disliked: The floors in our room and private bathroom were not very clean.
Enjoyable and relaxed
Liked: Lovely breakfast cereal and coffee tea station with communal outlook. Eco friendly products used. Cool building with history. Good price for location.
Not built properly. Old needs updating
Liked: The staff seem nice. The communal area is nice
Disliked: I’ve stayed in many hostels and this one was very old fashioned. Which architecturally is nice but as a place to sleep is not. The bunk bed was dangerous to get up on. As in theres no hold for your foot so I had to lift up my body weight to get on it and fell down twice? The showers were very powerless. It’s also a very noisy old bed. Also there was someone in the room profusely coughing and was clearly very sick and then made us all sick and we had to ask them to leave. What was worrying was the poor ventilation for this and the beds need updating so they’re more of a booth like contemporary hostels for this price that way we wouodve been shielded better for a sick person. Also because of the old beds when someone turns their night light on it brightens the whole row of beds because theres nothing to block a light leak. All in all just not comfortable. Better to stay in an air b n b.
