Awful and bitten by bed bugs

    Liked: Nothing

Disliked: My family and I stayed at your hotel for one night. My wife and I slept in separate single beds, and our son was also staying in the room. Following our return home, members of our family developed multiple raised, red skin lesions consistent with possible insect bites. These appeared in clusters and affected several areas of the body, including the hands, wrists, ankles, feet, legs and other exposed areas. The lesions became apparent over the days following our stay, with some continuing to emerge or become visible until approximately Friday 9 October. All three family members have been affected. We have experienced ongoing uncertainty and concern about the cause of these lesions and the possibility that bed bugs may have been brought back into our home. I acknowledge that the precise cause of skin lesions cannot be established from their appearance alone. However, the timing of the symptoms following our stay has caused us considerable concern. Previous reports concerning bed bugs Of particular concern is that, when reviewing publicly available Google reviews of your hotel, we found reports from other guests describing suspected bed bug problems over a period of approximately two years. The recurrence of these reports raises serious questions about whether this is an isolated incident or whether there may have been a continuing problem requiring more effective investigation and preventative measures. Given this history, I would expect the hotel to take such reports seriously and to have appropriate procedures in place to inspect rooms, investigate complaints and prevent any recurrence.

Much better than expected for the price

Liked: Best quality for the price, the staff really make you feel welcome, like you’re staying at a friend’s house. Everything is kept clean and working well.

Disliked: The shower stall is a bit tight, and no fridges makes it difficult to have a meal.

Liked: The hotel is good location of Clifton. Close to the city center and transports. Bed was clean.

Disliked: Hotel room was dusty, carpet shows some stains and walls could be redecorate. I was wake up at 11pm with sound of a hammer working near and again at 3am some drunk people trying to fund their room.

Disliked: Digits keypad on both rooms failed to work and couldn't be reset. After several attempts to reset and manual override all failing. 1.5hrs later it resulted in owner having to break down doors to left us in. Then obviously doors not secured at night.
