Exceptional
A stunningly disappointing apartment – best avoided!
Liked: The kitchen equipment was working. There was a sink, a refrigerator, a toaster and shelves with cutlery. The bathroom upstairs was in full working order.
Disliked: We booked an apartment for 3 nights in this apartment in Cardiff. Since it was already late when we arrived we stayed for one night, spent the night looking for alternative hotels on our cell phone, and then moved out the next morning in disgust. This cost us a good 200 euro to abandon the place early. This was advertised as a “stunning” city center apartment boutique apartment, the only thing stunning about the apartment was the mismatch between the description on the Booking posting and the actual apartment. First, it was extremely dirty. This apartment had not been cleaned properly with windows dirty, binds dirty, dust everywhere, stains and yuck all over the place. Second, it was quite run-down and in need of a real renovation. Like literally scratches and holes in the wallpaper. Third, it was small. Uncomfortably small, the stairs are steep and barely allow you to lug your suitcases upstairs. Fourth, the pictures on Booking don’t really reflect the apartment. They are a mix of 3-4 different apartments together that are a photomontage so that you don’t really know what your apartment will look like that you pay for. The photos were taken likely decades ago. Fifth, it was in a run-down neighborhood that doesn’t look too safe. Sixth, it was very hot in summer. Like unbearably hot. Seventh, there were mosquitoes. Eighth, the owner or manager was not responsive when we asked for a refund after moving out after one night, pretending ignorance.
A great location apartment that was perfect for my stay in Cardiff
Liked: I liked it was a whole apartment with a separate kitchen with lounge and bathroom area
Disliked: It would have been helpful to have some basics in the fridge - milk etc
Good choice for a group visit to Cardiff
Liked: Great location and clear instructions. Incredibly comfortable and good value for 4 of us. Was easy to find. Would definitely use again for a trip to Cardiff
Disliked: The pictures don't make it clear that it's photos of several apartments, so it didn't look how we expected it to, we expected the apartment in the first selection of images. There was no cloths or sponges to do our own dishes or clean up after ourselves. Coffee pods provided don't fit the machine. No sugar in the pot by the kettle with tea/coffee

Disliked: Owners and fraud - DO NOT BOOK HERE- I have stayed all over the world and never encountered fraud like. They send us pictures of stains on carpet and said we created them - I was here with my mum aunt aunt - we basically had tea and toast in the apartment- crazy and super upsetting - DO NOT STAY HERE
Liked: Nice Area, Bathroom was nice, no lock however, Downstairs was lovely
Disliked: Safety hazards, broken doors, Quite unclean
Disappointed as we paid iover £400 for one night in a dirty apartment
Liked: Location was good. Nice little place
Disliked: The fact that it wasn’t clean. We found multiple hairs in places a dirty black spoon in the drawer. The whole place could do with a paint and a little attention to detail.
