Good
Perfect place to stay for being central to Cardiff
Liked: Location fab, hosts very attentive and it was a brilliant stay for what we wanted!
Disliked: Although fairly clean it’s a bit messy in cupboards and drawers - loads of oversized pans and no baking trays - broken mugs and old Tupperware - it just needs a bit of a sort out and some paint touch ups.
Really nice, comfy and cozy stay in Cardiff
Liked: Comfy, cosy and very handy for work in the City Centre
Disliked: N/a
Pleased about where we'd chosen to stay
Liked: Comfortable apartment - ground floor was good. Very handy location - away from the main road, close to the School of Music, and also to the city centre. Generally the bus service was good and close by - and niot too far from Cathays station.
Served our purposes for visiting family for the weekend but wouldn’t describe it as exquisite
Liked: Bright and warm, good location
Disliked: Inadequate crockery and cutlery for 4 people to eat even for breakfast. There was only one teaspoon and 2bowls! Not completely clean Bathroom didn’t have a lock Fire blanket was missing Contents of bins outside scattered Host contacted us to see how it was but then didn’t act on any of the above when we replied
Great location for a short stay in Cardiff
Liked: The apartment was very close to Cardiff city centre (about 10 minutes walk) and it had its own parking at the rear of the property. Inside the apartment, it was well maintained, had a nice shower room and had good fittings throughout. It was a great location for a break based in Cardiff or the south Wales coast.
Disliked: I felt that more attention could have been paid to the external areas of the property, such as the shared hallway and rear and front yards, to make sure that they were clean and tidy, like the inside of the apartment. Also, first impressions count, and finding the front door with a broken window and a large industrial size waste bin in the middle of the front entrance, is not the first impression expected from a property making use of the work “exquisite”. These things could be easily addressed.
Really helpful host, brilliant location
Liked: The host was the most responsive we’ve ever had in 20 years using booking.com. There were road closures due to a blackweir concert event and he sorted our parking at the last minute. Great shower with amazing toiletries. Well equipped with tea bags olive oil etc.
Disliked: Parking bays at the back not clearly labelled. Building not numbered so we had to figure it out from neighbours numbers.
