Great service, a slightly cleaner room would’ve been good
Liked: Very spacious room, shower was great, bed was ok. Kitchen facilities were really good, tea and coffee were available near the front desk for free (with a coffee machine for more fancy coffee at a small sum). Overall quite good. Easy to access and staff were helpful
Disliked: There was hair. Everywhere. Small curls everywhere. A clean with a lint roller would’ve been good. Glad I travelled with my own pillow cases because I had to remove theirs as there were hairs on the bed and pillows. This was the only problem I had with the room. I was also told the day before I was due to arrive that my booking was getting cancelled because I hadn’t submitted the right information on time, even though I had. Called them up and got everything sorted. Not sure why they were so quick to try to cancel my booking with their system error, but alas all was well.
Disappointing Experience!
Liked: Nothing!
Disliked: I had a very disappointing experience with this property. Although I submitted all the required student documents almost two weeks before my arrival, the property delayed reviewing them until the last minute. On the day before check-in, I was suddenly told that my documents were “incomplete". Despite providing official proof of enrolment from my university and resending documents multiple times, I was informed just hours before check-in that my booking might be cancelled. Eventually, when I arrived at the property, I was told that my name was not on the accepted list, and I was refused entry. To make matters worse, I even received “check-out instructions” directly from the property a day before I was supposed to check - out, which shows how poorly the process was managed. The handling of the process was disorganised and unprofessional, causing me to waste valuable time during my short stay in Cardiff. I ended up having to find another accommodation at the last minute. I do not recommend this property to anyone expecting clear communication, reliability, and respect for guests’ time.
Excellent
Liked: Easy to access Great location Very clean Had my own kitchen
Disliked: Little bit warm
Good
Disliked: The room was a bit dirty. The shower never fully drained, and it drained very slowly. I would have to turn off the water for a few minutes mid-shower to make sure it didn't overflow into the rest of the bathroom. The system for checking in and checking that you are a student is a hot mess and more stressful than it needs to be. Otherwise, lovely room, lovely location, good for the price.
Exceptional
Liked: I had a great overall experience. Location-wise, it’s in a convenient spot, not far from the city centre.
Enjoyed my stay and I wouldn’t mind coming back here once I get a chance to visit again
Liked: It was a great place to stay. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and had everything I needed, including a kitchenette and strong WiFi. I appreciated the 24/7 front desk and the games room was a nice bonus. It’s in a really convenient spot—close to the university, the city center, and public transport. The building felt safe and quiet, which made it easy to relax. Overall, a solid experience.
