Comfortable, value for money and great location for central Cardiff
Liked: Location and rooms, very large rooms.
Disliked: Stayed before and access to the pool used to be free, they now charge and feel the pool needs a little tlc.
Could be better
Liked: Room was nice with a lovely bath.
Disliked: Bar… only two members of staff running the bar and serving food. All the beers awful gave up and went to the nearest pub. Called a few days prior to my arrival to ask for my two rooms to be next door to each other and was also told my dogs overnights stay would be £20. On arrival rooms on separate floors and had to pay £30 for my dog.
Would never return!! Avoid!!!
Disliked: Rude staff Rooms smelt of sewerage coming from the piping Confirmed that I had breakfast and access to the swimming pool before the cancellation deadline to then not honour this on arrival and be very rude about it. While there multiple guests made complaints at reception and all met with same non blanch service that really did not care and offered no compensation or apology for their mistakes us included. More than 3 couples were allocated the same room with all key cards working and all had to go through the same embarrassing situation of walking in to a room that was already occupied.

Disliked: Long check in queue as there was only 1 staff member to begin with. Also.my room was a twin when Id paid for double but we just made do.

Disliked: Rooms tired. Staff unwelcoming. Breakfast food quality was very poor.
