Guest reviews
Very good
Liked: Everything - but special shout out to the staff, they were all excellent, especially the lady who checked us in. She was awesome 👌
Disliked: Nothing
Ok, not special, but OK
Liked: Loved the pool and spa facilities, restaurant was nice with good food.
Disliked: It is really dated, with a strange smell. Room old fashioned and worn. Also not the hotels fault but the hotel next door appears to be now used for people in unfortunate circumstances. The co op grocery shop across the road looks like it is in a war zone.
The staff were really friendly and went over and above to make sure everything was ok
Disliked: Breakfast could have been a bit hotter
Handy location and child friendly but tired and rundown in places
Liked: Kids playground indoors so handy
Disliked: At times it was clear they were over stretched. Our daughters bed wasn’t made up in arrival, we did not have towels either. We. Priced an Apple core on the floor in the swimming pool area and then it was not cleared away for the whole trip it was there. Toiletries in our room were not topped up - we are pretty certain the shower gel just had water added to it by the end of the stay. We were only given one room key which was so inconvenient when you have a child and the only way to use the lift or the facilities in the hotel is to get in via a key. Finally a sock was left in the bed and this got taken away with bedding when the room was turned down yesterday. More care needs to be taken. No where to hang coats or towels in the room and the shower door leaked everywhere.
Pleasant enough hotel
Liked: Nice hotel. Comfortable room.
Disliked: Noisy play area next to reception didn’t exactly inspire. The breakfast/bar area is a bit too “industrial”. Bathroom could do with the occasional hook for towels.
Liked: Room was clean and spacious for a family of 4. Great breakfast. And facilities like swimming pool and gym are bonuses.
