Exceptional
A very pleaaant place to stay - not so much if you’re up and down in the night!
Liked: The location was excellent as was the breakfast. The place, including the shared bathrooms, was very clean. The staff was courteous and friendly.
Disliked: The shared bathrooms (there were many) were not on the same floor as the bedrooms.
Cosy, pleasant, handy location for exploring Cardiff
Liked: The whole house and bedroom and bathrooms were very clean. It was warm and pleasant, with a radiator to turn on when needed in the bedroom. The kitchen was organised well. The location was very close to the train station and the castle, shops, etc. The television in our bedroom was connected to Netflix. Abi/Charlie were very helpful with my questions on WhatsApp. The staff member in the kitchen was nice and helpful the morning we were leaving. We were able to leave our suitcases on our last day while we explored Cardiff, and collect them in the evening.
Disliked: There were no bathmats for the showers and I think only the one hairdryer in the house, attached to the wall on one floor - just a minor inconvenience. The bed was quite low to the ground and my back was sore, so getting up and down was a bit of a pain, literally! We asked for an extra towel (for my hair) and the cleaning lady had several questions about it before providing said towel. Tissues provided in the bedrooms would be useful. Nothing major, but these things would just have added to our comfort during our stay.

Liked: Great location, clean, warm and cozy, met all of my needs. Abi and Charlie were the best hosts and even let me store my luggage for the day after checking out. I would definitely book again.
