    Incredible place!!!

Liked: This old pub is amazing, so quaint and full of character. The location is ideal just off the main High Street. Great breakfast and dinner options. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Disliked: OK, parking can be a bit of an issue but with some patience it works out.

Good. The historic building has great character, though you need to watch out for steps everywhere

Liked: Pleasant small double room with lots of storage space and places to put stuff, and an easy chair. Everything worked. It was well away from the restaurant and bar, so quiet.

Disliked: The bed was made up in such a way that the duvet came right up to the top of the mattress, presumably to display the pretty but totally unnecessary cushions, but too high, and it was so well tucked in at the bottom that I couldn't remake it and had to fold the top back, far too hot on a mild night. The extractor fan in the en suite seems a little underpowered; there was a slight whiff when I arrived.

Liked: Stairs, low beams and uneven floors might be a challenge for some but to be expected of 14th century inn. Full of character but with modern facilities. Staff so welcoming and food excellent.

    Disliked: Nothing not to like.
