Good
Liked: It is basic but for one night is fine Could be lot cleaner in the rooms
Liked: cheap location: close to the beach
Disliked: The room had a strong and unpleasant smell probably coming from the bathroom. room not clean and furnitures old and worn No staff in the reception most of the time, bar and restaurant were closed.
Will use again. Basic but acceptable
Liked: Basic room, but adequate for my needs. A bit cold until I turned the radiators thermostat up. Comfortable and clean. I’d use again.
Disliked: The lift. It’s old, and takes ages to arrive and take You to your floor.
Short visit for the Air Show had a great weekend, love Eastbourne
Liked: Cheap & cheerful, hotel has had better days but great location handy for beach & town centre. Pleasant staff & a great price.
Don’t stay there
Liked: No breakfast
Disliked: Towel’S too small for drying are self’s after a shower no bigger then a hand towel room cold no heating at all check in at 3 pm never saw anybody after that for are entire stay extra cost for parking with no warning about bar and restaurant closed with no warning when booking when they know that would advice anybody look elsewhere
Great value for good hotel
Liked: Excellent decor with brand new looking carpets. Lift if U R stair adverse. Parked right outside with £4 parking for 24hrs (with voucher from hotel). This means l will be able to park free between 8am & 6pm tomorrow & could come & go in zone H free after 6pm to 8am next morning. Good size TV not your usual tiny one in many budget hotels.
Disliked: Tea cup difficult to hold when hot as a 70 yr old! Didnt need heating on myself at 70yrs old due to mild early Oct weather. Eastbourne has cheap hotels due to so many hotels here l think & its now off season.
