Fabulous
Great stay in Eastbourne
Liked: Felt very safe. Little touches like washing powder left out. Very reasonably priced. Exceptionally clean and a great location. Host was in contact prior and during the stay, great communication from them. Would highly recommend.
Disliked: Not so much that I didn't like but I had a little trouble accessing the WiFi and getting TV to work. A little call to my husband sorted the issue but it may be beneficial to leave a little how to guide out as I had to go into TV settings and reconnect it to the WiFi. But it was no big deal and didn't affect my stay at all.
Could do better
Liked: Clean comfortable
Disliked: WiFi was useless. tv wasn't connecting because of WiFi noisy front door walls are to thin could hear other conversations in other flats no air conditioning of any kind went and bought own fan to make it more comfortable.
Liked: The location - close to beach and town Amenities for the shower
Disliked: The water in the sink doesn’t go down immediately, need to manually pull up the drain Probably best for 2 people and 3 max (with one using the sofa)
Lovely apartment with everything you need but just a couple of negatives
Liked: Communication with Magdelena was great throughout from booking to being in the property. Comfy beds and all the facilities needed for a few days away. Location was good for Eastbourne town centre. Parking is available around the surrounding streets but be aware you may not be able to park in the street - we were unable to park near the apartment during our stay.
Disliked: The photo's did make the property look bigger than it actually was but having said that, it was just the 2 of us and we were out most of the time so beds and sleep were the most important thing - sadly, on the Friday night, the other residents in the apartment block were not as considerate as they could have been. The main door to the building was opened and closed about 4 times from 2.00am Saturday morning to 3.00am along with a fair bit of normal noise around this time. As the main door is right next to the bedroom in the apartment, we were disturbed greatly. The outside area was lovely but not kept clean - we appreciate this is probably a communal area and not your responsibility but a quick wipe over would have been good. We did sit outside and it was lovely and relaxing in the sunshine but we did have to give it a good clean before hand. Due to the very hot weather we have had recently, a fan would have been an added bonus. The windows were open on our arrival but because of the outside area, a number of gnats were already in the apartment following cleaning so we then made sure the windows were closed which consequently made the apartment stuffy. This sounds like a really negative review but it isn't - we had a lovely weekend and the apartment has everything you need and it is within walking distance of the town. We are aware that the main negative was our sleep and this was down to the inconsideration of the other people within the block.
Great place not far from town for independence
Liked: Nice ground floor flat with modern furniture and modern bathroom with walk in shower. Plenty of towels and linen supplied. Kitchen had all utensils and pots etc for cooking if you wanted. Plenty of tea and coffee supplied. The big fridge was faulty but there was an extra fridge plugged in. Sofa bed in lounge and smart TV. Easy access with codes so not lost key issues. The area was generally quiet and not far from seafront or town. Bout 10min walk. The owner replied to questions very quickly.
Disliked: The person above could be heard walking around. They were I from about 6pm and would walk around until 10pm and then again in the morning from about 8am. It wasn't too bad as not in dead of night but just something you notice when not used to it. The sofa bed was quite hard to sleep on and I used an extra Duvet to soften. Again a person al preference.
Very good
Liked: The property is very well equipped, clean and comfortable and Magdalena answers queries very promptly
Disliked: The flat is very poorly sound proofed so it is quite noisy. I’m a good sleeper so it didn’t bother me too much but you might want to take ear plugs. Packing was fine on the street but it would be fair to say that this is not the most salubrious area of Eastbourne
